Biography:
I am honored to serve as the president of the Massachusetts Police Association. It is a privilege to hold this distinguished position that has a history dating back over one hundred years. I look forward to working with the executive board. My goal is to better our positions as police officers working in respected communities throughout the commonwealth.
The economy is slowly recovering from the down turn we experienced this past year. It is important that we continue to provide scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of police officers. Families need this assistance to help off set the high cost of achieving a higher education. Police officers will continue to participate at the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C. It is imperative that we show support to families of officers who have been killed in the line of duty.
Keeping current on state of the art equipment and the training needed to go with it will not be neglected. Well-trained and educated officers are assets to their communities. Supporting and sponsoring Concerns of Police Survivors will continue to be a priority. During my tenure, I will serve with commitment and dedication. If we all stand together, as a united group, we will continue to flourish, and accomplish for the greater good of our great Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
I pledge to do what is best for the organization and to continue to strive for excellence as my esteemed colleagues before me have done. Any changes, large or small, that betters the lives of the police officers and their families that can be accomplished over the next year I will see as a success during my presidency.
I wish everyone and their families a safe, healthy, and prosperous coming year.
